Suriya's Mighty Valiant Saga 'Kanguva' Got Its New Release Date (Image-Instagram/actorsuriya)
As the fans of Suriya are expecting his presence on the big screen with the release of the “mighty valiant saga” Kanguva, the makers of this fantasy action film have finally unveiled the release date with an exciting poster. This much-anticipated film is finally set to hit the theaters after two years of its making.
Kanguva, the pan-Indian action movie, which is set to make history with a global release in 38 languages will be hitting the theaters this October 10. Marking the 42nd film of Suriya, the historical fiction film will be released in both 3D and IMAX formats.

Directed by Siruthai Siva, Kanguva is billed to be an action-adventure film, with portions set 1500 years in the past. Apart from Suriya, the cast of Kanguva also includes Bobby Deol, Disha Patani, Natarajan Subramaniam, Jagapathi Babu, Yogi Babu, Redin Kingsley, Kovai Sarala, Anandaraj, Ravi Raghavendra, KS Ravikumar and BS Avinash. Bollywood actor Disha Patani who plays the female lead is marking her Tamil debut with the film. Bollywood star Bobby Deol plays the antagonist in the film.

With cinematography by Vetri Palanisamy and editing by Nishadh Yusuf, the period film has music composed by National award-winning composer, Devi Sri Prasad.
It has to be noted that Kanguva will mark actor Suriya’s first release in two years. He was last seen in a cameo role as Rolex, in Kamal Haasan-starer Vikram. The actor is currently busy shooting for Suriya 44 which is directed by Karthik Subbaraj.
