Aligarh: Mob Attacks Kshatriya Leader Over 'Bhangi' Remark In Brother's Speech
Aligarh, Uttar Pradesh: A mob allegedly attacked Sachin Raghav, the district president of the Kshatriya Yuva Karni Sena on Wednesday evening for caste related dispute. The attackers chased the man, a Hindu hardliner, and beat him with slaps and belts.
The attackers allegedly dragged Sachin inside Ambedkar Park. There, they forced him to chant slogans in honour of the Valmiki community and Dr. Ambedkar. The incident took place at the Ghanta Ghar intersection in the Civil Lines area.

The mob was sparked by anger over Sachin Raghav’s brother Sunder’s speech that referenced the term ‘bhangi’ in describing social roles, upsetting the Valmiki community.
As soon as the police arrived at the scene, the attackers fled. The police sent Sachin to the government hospital for medical examination.
