Cleaned Polluted River Alone, Now The 21-Year-Old Viral Indian Man From Madhya Pradesh Has A Dutch Job Offer
Rajgarh, Madhya Pradesh: Bittu Tabahi, a 21-year-old man’s simple effort to clean a heavily polluted river in Madhya Pradesh’s Rajgarh district has become an international sensation. The video of the man cleaning the polluted river alone and posting the picture on social media both before and after his efforts, had gained huge traction online, drawing significant praise.
Originally, Surendra Singh Chaudhary, who is known as Bittu Tabahi online, has now earned a job offer from a Dutch NGO. The job proposal came from Boyan Slat, the founder and CEO of Netherlands-based environmental organisation The Ocean Cleanup, after his efforts to clean the polluted river went viral on social media.

The Ocean Cleanup CEO, in a social media post on X, shared Choudhary’s work with a simple invitation: ‘Come work for us’.
The video shows Bittu Tabahi setting himself out himself to clean a river clogged with plastic waste, algae and other debris. He reportedly spent months independently cleaning the polluted river and featured before-and-after images showing the transformation, gaining huge online reactions.
