New Delhi: In his first public address since the India-Pakistan military strikes last week following Operation Sindoor, Prime Minister Narendra Modi addressed the nation tonight. During his address, PM Modi highlighted that a “new normal” was created following Operation Sindoor in India’s fight against terrorism.
In his first televised address since the launch of Operation Sindoor, PM Modi said the recent strikes by Indian armed forces had destroyed nine terror infrastructure sites in Pakistan and Pakistan-Occupied Kashmir (PoK).

Congratulating the Indian Armed Forces for successfully carrying out Operation Sindoor, PM Modi dedicated it to all the mothers and daughters for “whipping sindoor” from their heads.
Accusing Pakistani government and the army of “nurturing terrorism,” he warned that one day, it will “destroy them from within.” “If Pakistan wants to survive, they will have to dismantle the terror infrastructure,” he said.
He further said that Operation Sindoor was a fitting and crushing response and that any future terrorist attack on India will be responded to with a crushing retaliation. “We will not see the difference between the terrorist & Pakistani establishment,” the prime minister warned.
Operation Sindoor was launched on May 7 in response to the deadly terror attack in Jammu and Kashmir’s Pahalgam on April 22, which killed 26 people, mostly tourists including a Nepalese citizen.
