While speaking to the reporters, Kharge said that the opposition had demanded a statement regarding the security breach from the Prime Minister and Union minister.
In response to the mass suspension, the India bloc has also announced plans to protest at Jantar Mantar on Friday.
The protest came amid bitter row between the government and the opposition leaders over the suspension of 140 MPs from parliament alleging “unruly conduct”, referring to the instance in which the INDIA bloc members demanded the government answer for the security breach in parliament last week.
The suspension of the lawmakers came in three waves, initially 78 members were suspended followed by another 49 and two more on Wednesday. Suspended MPs remarked the government’s action as “murder of democracy”, and alleged it as an attempt to pass the contentious bills without any opposition.
