The Mathurapur Lok Sabha constituency, which is reserved for Scheduled Castes (SCs), includes Vidhan Sabhas that have elected TMC members as their MLAs, including Patharpratima, Kakdwip, Sagar, Kulpi, Raidighi, Mandirbazar (SC reserved), and Magrahat Paschim.
Given that half of the constituency is made up of Muslims (35.57 percent) and South Asians (30.22 percent), it is anticipated that these minority groups would determine the outcome of the Mathurapur Lok Sabha seat.
