Kulwinder Kaur, the Central Industrial Security Force (CISF) constable who was suspended after she allegedly slapped actor-turned-politician and BJP Lok Sabha MP Kangana Ranaut at Chandigarh airport, has been transferred to Bengaluru.
Following the the security staff’s conduct at the airport on June 6, the CISF had suspended Kulwinder Kaur. An enquiry was launched into the incident and a case of assault was also registered against Kaur at the Airport Police Station. However, the CISF constable has been reinstated, by giving a transfer to Bengaluru, according to a report by Indian Express.

Kulwinder Kaur had said that she slapped the actor due to one of her old alleged insulting remarks about farmers. The actor was travelling to New Delhi days after her Lok Sabha election victory from Himachal Pradesh’s Mandi constituency in her debut contest on BJP ticket.
After the alleged incident, the newly elected MP took to her social media platform X, stating that she was hit and verbally abused by the CISF staff during a security check. She also raised safety concerns, noting, “Shocking rise in terror and violence in Punjab” in her post.
Notably, Kulwinder Kaur still remains under suspension and has been transferred to a reserve battalion of CISF in Bengaluru, the media house reported citing sources.

Kulwinder Kaur hails from Sultanpur Lodhi in Punjab and was deployed at Chandigarh Airport for the past two years.
