The Uchana Kalan assembly constituency has emerged as one of the most closely watched seats in the Haryana election, witnessing a three-cornered contest in the Jat-dominated constituency. As the Congress fielded Brijendra Singh, a member of the Jat community, the party hoped for a victory.

As the former Deputy Chief Minister and Jannayak Janta Party (JJP) leader Dushyant Chautala sought a second consecutive term, this constituency became one of the hot seats in the state. However, Chautala’s stance against the farmer protests resulted in the election, and the former minister could only secure 7950 votes.
