Devendra Chatar Bhuj Attri of the BJP party has won from the Uchana Kalan constituency in the 2024 assembly election. Followed by the close contest between the BJP and Congress, Devendra secured his victory with a margin of just 32 votes.
The BJP candidate bagged a total of 48,968 votes and brought back the party in the political arena of the constituency. Whereas, Brijendra Singh of the Congress party lost the election with just 32 votes.

The Uchana Kalan assembly constituency has emerged as one of the most closely watched seats in the Haryana election, witnessing a three-cornered contest in the Jat-dominated constituency. As the Congress fielded Brijendra Singh, a member of the Jat community, the party hoped for a victory.
As the former Deputy Chief Minister and Jannayak Janta Party (JJP) leader Dushyant Chautala sought a second consecutive term, this constituency became one of the hot seats in the state. However, Chautala’s stance against the farmer protests resulted in the election, and the former minister could only secure 7950 votes.

The Uchana Kalan constituency has always been a seat of intense political interest, with a majority Jat population and several political heavyweights vying for dominance. In 2024 Haryana Assembly elections, the total percentage of voters in Uchana Kalan Assembly Constituency was recorded at 75.44 percent. Uchana Kalan comes under Jind district of Haryana State.
