Punjab Congress leader Navjot Singh Sidhu’s wife Navjot Kaur was diagnosed with stage 2 invasive cancer in March, last year. Sharing the recent development with the public, Sidhu wrote on X that his wife will be undergoing surgery at the Dr Waryam Singh Hospital, Yamunanagar today.
“Wife will be operated at the Dr Waryam Singh Hospital , Yamunanagar today … she will undergo her second operation for breast cancer!” he wrote.

Navjot Kaur opened up about invasive cancer diagnosis through X post in March, last year. In an emotional note to her husband, when he was serving a sentence in jail for a road-rage incident from 34 years ago.
She wrote, “He is in prison for a crime he has not committed. Forgive all those involved. Waiting for you each day outside, probably suffering more than you. As usual, trying to take your pain away, asked for sharing it. Happened to see a small growth, knew it was bad.”

The Congress leader has been sharing the details of his wife’s treatment on social media. He has posted pictures of his wife being taken care of by him during her fifth chemotherapy session.
The Punjab Congress leader also shared a video after the third chemotherapy stating that nothing was impossible for a ‘resolute’ person. “Nothing is impossible for a resolute person……. her steely resolve has been facilitated by Dr. Rupinder Batra (Former Tata Memorial Oncologist) at Waryam Singh Hospital, Yamunanagar,” he said.
The Congress leader who was in jail for 10 months after being convicted in a 34-year-old road-rage incident, was released from jail earlier last year.
