If the most decorated gymnast in history, Simone Biles, knows anything, it is how to stick a landing. While she has shown her exceptional prowess as a gymnast on the mat countless times, she has also proven to be a force to be reckoned with outside of the gymnasium.

After winning her second gold medal – and the sixth in her career – at the Paris Olympics 2024 in the individual all-around event, Biles celebrated her victory while taking a jibe at former President Donald Trump.

Replying to a post by singer-songwriter Ricky Davila where he said, “Simone Biles being the GOAT, winning Gold medals and dominating gymnastics is her black job,” Biles expressed, “I love my black job,” a swipe at Trump’s recent remark about immigrants taking “black jobs.”

During a speech at the National Association of Black Journalists convention on Wednesday, the Republican nominee told a roomful of black journalists, “I will tell you that coming from the border, are millions and millions of people that happen to be taking Black jobs.”

When asked to explain, Trump said that a black job is “anybody that has a job. That’s what it is.” He added that there was an immigrant “invasion” where the Black population was affected the most.

At 27, Biles is the oldest woman to bag the all-around title in over 70 years. She is also the third woman to win two of them. Her teammate Sunisa Lee secured the bronze medal at the Olympics.
