The tech giant Google has announced tha the company is expanding its AI Overviews to six other countries including India as the features allow users to receive a synopsis of complex subjects and topics when they ask open-ended questions. This will also provide information efficiently which enables them to explore topics with sufficient details in a concise form. Now Indian users can also have access to Google AI Overview.
Google AI Overview is a search feature that helps users to receive data in a summarised manner. Since AI plays a key role it leverages the search results sorted and filtered to bestow what is needed including enough information and data within the short text to respond quickly to the queries.

It was already rolled out to some users as they were a part of the Search Lab experiment. Users can also take part in this experiment even if their country hasn’t deployed with AI yet. They need to be participants and submit feedback after using AI Overviews.
However, in May, users slammed Google AI for showcasing false and miscellaneous information or answers to the questions. Users said that Google‘s AI Overview results have not been promising at all and they wouldn’t recommend anyone to go for medical-related queries using Google AI.

Google’s new AI overview feature is a disaster.
AI is awesome. Tacking on AI to a product that hundreds of millions use without it working is not.
