Vivo is all set to introduce its flagship X100 series smartphones in the Indian market. The popular Chinese smartphone manufacturer has also officially announced the upcoming launch of the flagship series in India through a post on its official X handle. Vivo has also created a promo page on its Indian website to tease the Vivo X100 and Vivo X100 Pro”s launch in the country.
“The vivo X Series has strived to elevate smartphone imaging, one innovation at a time,” wrote Vivo on its X handle on December 17. The much-anticipated Vivo X100 and X100 Pro will be equipped with a brand-new MediaTek Dimensity 9300 SoC. Notably, MediaTek”s new chipset boasts impressive performance claims, with a 15 percent increase in single-core performance and a 40 percent increase in multi-core performance compared to the previous version. Both devices run on Android 14-based OriginOS 4 and are equipped with curved 6.78-inch 8 LTPO AMOLED displays with up to a refresh rate of 120 Hz.

The Vivo X100 arrives in the market with a 50MP main sensor with a Sony IMX VCS sensor and a 64MP telephoto camera with a Zeiss lens, offering up to 3x optical zoom. Meanwhile, the Vivo X100 Pro will have a 50MP primary sensor with a Sony IMX989 lens and a 50MP Zeiss lens, providing an impressive 4.3x optical zoom. In terms of battery, the Vivo X100 houses a 5,000mAh battery with 120W fast charging. On the other hand, the X100 Pro features a 5,400mAh unit with 100W charging as well as a 50W wireless charging rate. Vivo has not yet announced the exact launch date. However, the release is anticipated to take place in January 2024.
