Xiaomi Unveils Redmi Buds 5 With Hybrid ANC In India (Image: Mi)
Xiaomi has recently launched its latest true wireless stereo (TWS) earbuds in India. The Chinese electronic brand”s Redmi Buds 5 arrives on the market with a range of features, including 46dB hybrid active noise cancellation. It will be available for purchase from February 20.
Xiaomi is aiming to capture the market by expanding its TWS earbuds portfolio in the country. Xiaomi claims that the all-new Redmi Buds 5 is a perfect blend of “features and fashion.” The device has an AirPods-like semi-in-ear design and is equipped with nano-coated decorative strips. The company claims that with the active noise cancellation feature, users will be able to experience undisturbed audio with up to 46dB noise cancellation that blocks out 99.5 percent of background noise.
The Redmi Buds 5, priced at Rs. 2,999 in India, offers up to 38-hour battery life along with fast charging. According to Xiaomi, a quick charge of 5 minutes gives users up to 2 hours of playback time, and 10 minutes gives up to 4 hours of playback time. Notably, the earphones also feature an IP54 rating for dust and water resistance.
Additionally, users can personalise their Redmi Buds 5 with the fully customizable Xiaomi Earbuds app. The customisation options available in the app include noise cancellation modes, audio effects, and touch controls. The earbuds also have dual-mic AI voice enhancement for calls. This feature delivers optimal call quality, even in windy environments.
The Redmi Buds 5 will be available for purchase on the Mi website, Amazon, Flipkart, and via Xiaomi retail partners. The earbuds arrive in three color variants. This includes Fusion Purple, Fusion White, and Fusion Black.
