Drone Attack Damages Bahrain's Water Desalination Plant, Following US Bombing Of Iran's Plant
Manama, Bahrain: Bahrain’s Ministry of Interior has said that a drone attack has inflicted material damage to a water desalination plant providing roughly 75% of the country’s freshwater supply.
The minister claimed the Iranian drone hit the facility, injuring at least several people. The strike follows the US attack using a PrSM missile launched from Bahrain on a desalination plant on Iran’s Qeshm Island. The US attack on a water supply facility has caused water shortages in Iran, inviting a strong rebuke from Tehran against targeting civil infrastructures.
