The Ministry of Human Resources and Emiratisation (MoHRE) has announced that Sunday, March 30, 2025, to Tuesday, April 1, 2025, will be a paid holiday for both the public and private sectors across the country on the occasion of Eid Al Fitr. However, if the moon is sighted on the 30th day, the holiday will be extended to Wednesday, April 2.

As a result, some government employees will receive a six-day holiday, as Friday is already a public holiday for public sector workers in Sharjah.

Kuwait

If the first day of Eid Al Fitr is on March 30, work at all Kuwaiti ministries, governmental bodies, and public institutions will be suspended for three days, resuming on April 2.  However, if the first day of Eid falls on March 31, work will be suspended from March 30, with offices resuming on April 6.
