Iran Threatens To Block Red Sea Trade If US Naval Blockade Continues

Tehran, Iran: Iran military has warned that it will block all trade in the Red Sea, Gulf and Sea of Oman if the US naval blockade continues against the Islamic Republic, Al Jazeera reported.

The Iranian officials have said that any threat to its ships would be a prelude to violating the existing ceasefire. The Iranian threat comes as reports of second wave of peace talk is expected to be held in Pakistan this week. Iran has reportedly demanded a compensation of $270 billion for the damage it suffered during the war launched by US and Israel against the Islamic Republic on February 28.
