Israel's Doha Attack: Qatar To Convene Emergency Arab-Islamic Summit
Doha, Qatar: Following Israel’s recent attack on Doha, Qatar has decided to convene an emergency Arab-Islamic summit. The meeting would take place in Doha on Sunday and Monday, as per reports by state news agency QNA.
The summit is expected to discuss Israel’s attack on Hamas political leaders in Qatar, which Doha viewed as a violation of its sovereignty, calling the Jewish nation’s action state-sponsored terrorism. Qatar also stated Israel cheated the gulf nation, adding that the hope for normalcy and negotiation was also hit by the expansion of aggression to Doha.

Israel carried out an air strike in Doha in stating to target Hamas’s political leadership. However, Hamas said the attack missed all its top negotiators, though five Hamas members were killed, including the son of exiled Gaza chief Khalil al-Hayya.
Reacting to the attack, the Qatari prime minister has said Benjamin Netanyahu killed any hope of a deal to release all the Israeli hostages in Gaza when he ordered an airstrike on Doha.
