The Tesla CEO and investor-business man Elon Reeve Musk on Wednesday said that he cannot envision himself as voting for the incumbent US President Joe Biden in the upcoming 2024 election. “I think I would not vote for Biden”, said Elon Musk addressing the New York Times Dealbook conference. The United States presidential election in Alaska is scheduled to take place on Tuesday, November 5, 2024. Mr Biden, the Democratic president is looking forward for the 2024 elections expecting a second term.
On Wednesday, Elon Musk was asked whether he could see himself casting a ballot for Mr Biden in a hypothetical matchup with the former US President Donald Trump. “I am not saying I would vote for Trump”, said the Tesla owner adding that it was a difficult choice.
Elon Musk stated that he casted his vote for Mr Biden in the 2020 elections, but the two eventually had a disputable relationship after the President took his office. As reported by the Times of India, Mr Biden rarely spoke of Mr Musk, even while discussing issues involving the automobile industry and the government’s efforts to promote electric vehicles. Tesla Inc by Elon Musk is a leading American multinational automotive from Texas, which designs and manufactures electric vehicles and other technological equipments in promotion of clean energy.
In 2021, Mr Biden invited chief executives of Ford Motor Co and General Motors Co to the White House for an event, but aTesla was denied from the invitation. Without “doing anything to provoke the Biden administration, they held an electric vehicle summit at the White House and specifically refused to Tesla attend”, said Mr Musk on Wednesday. He added that Mr Biden, in motive to insult Tesla, said GM was leading the electric car revolution.

Meanwhile, earlier in 2023, Mr Biden praised Tesla when the company opened part of Tesla’s charging network to other electric, “a big deal”. To that Mr Musk took to his X (formerly Twitter) handle and said; “Thank you, Tesla is happy to support other EVs via our Supercharger network”.
