2025 Aston Martin Vanquish Launched; Gets 5.2-Litre Twin-Turbocharged V12 Engine
With ex-showroom costs beginning at Rs 8.85 crore before extras, the third-generation Aston Martin Vanquish has made its debut in India. The new Aston Martin GT has the fastest top speed of any series-production vehicle in the brand’s history and receives extensive exterior and interior upgrades.
Interestingly, the Vanquish’s 5.2-liter twin-turbo V12 engine isn’t mated to a hybrid system. The new Aston Martin can reach a peak speed of 345 kph and 0-100 kph in 3.3 seconds thanks to its 835 horsepower, 1,000 Nm (the most for the marque), and an 8-speed gearbox. A performance comparison between the new model and the previous Vanquish may be seen in the table below.

The iconic vaned grille has expanded in size and provides the V12 with additional air. Additionally, the air is channeled by two fin-shaped bonnet scoops. Regarding the lighting components, the rear LED headlights create a distinctive pattern, while the front has sweptback LED headlights reminiscent of the Vantage.
The most recent Vanquish Grand Tourer still has the appearance of a two-door coupe, but it is longer now since the space between the front wheel and the A-pillar has been increased. The new 21-inch forged wheels are fitted with custom Pirelli tires, and the carbon-fibre side strake on the fenders has grown in size and complements the doors. Nevertheless, the sloping roofline and large rear wheel arch resemble those of the second-generation Vanquish.

For stability at high speeds, the Vanquish has an aggressive-looking diffuser with outer and middle blades, as well as quad exhaust tips. The “Shield” panel, which spans the taillights and is available in body color, gloss black, or carbon fiber, is another feature that Aston Martin has introduced to the new vehicle.
The inside of the two-seater has undergone a thorough revamp in comparison to the previous model, and it now resembles the current generation of Aston Martins. Its 10.25-inch touchscreen supports both wired and wireless Apple CarPlay and Android Auto, and Aston Martin’s new software stack powers a driver’s display of comparable size. The gearbox’s manual mode button and the actual controls for the temperature and audio have remained the same.
Most of the cabin is finished in Alcantara and the seats feature a new quilted design. The Vanquish also offers a fixed glass roof (for the first time) but buyers can opt for a carbon fibre one too. A 1,170-watt, 15-speaker Bowers and Wilkins sound system is also offered.
