2025 Kawasaki Z900 Patented In India: Currently Priced At Rs 9.38 Lakh
In India, Kawasaki is getting ready to introduce the significantly upgraded Z900. The most recent Z900 model broke cover in November 2024 and is probably on its way to Indian shores. The Japanese superbike manufacturer has hinted at a potential launch by filing a patent application for the new Z900 in the nation ahead of its release.
Although submitting a patent application does not ensure a bike’s release on the market, it does indicate that Kawasaki is considering doing so in India. Additionally, Kawasaki has been giving discounts of up to Rs 40,000 on the current Z900. This discount, which is good until March 31, 2025, is applied to the bike’s ex-showroom price.
The Z900 receives both feature and cosmetic improvements over the previous model in the most recent iteration. Starting with the design, the Japanese company Kawasaki has made a few minor adjustments to give it a new look, even though it still maintains the extremely aggressive styling of the present model. For example, the revamped triple-pod LED headlight cluster gives the 2025 Z900 a fresh face up front, making it appear more dangerous.

The side fairing’s shiny carbon gray accents offer the bike a pleasing contrast. A new taillight cluster is installed on the back. Additional stylistic elements from the current model have been retained, including a muscular fuel tank, a floating tail section, an upswept double-barrel exhaust muffler, and a metallic engine underbelly bash plate.
A new 5-inch colored TFT instrument display with a lean angle indicator is one of the characteristics of the 2025 Z900. The redesigned Kawasaki Rideology app, which provides voice commands and turn-by-turn navigation, and Bluetooth connectivity are both compatible with the new instrument cluster. Cruise control is now added to the already extensive electronics suite.
The 2025 Kawasaki Z900 comes in two trim levels worldwide: regular and performance. The latter includes extra accessories including a tank pad, a huge smoke meter cover, a dashboard screen protector, an Akropovic carbon sports exhaust with a heat shield, and a single seat cover in metallic spark black.

The 2025 Z900 is nearly mechanically identical to its predecessor. With rebound, damping, and spring preload adjustability for the Performance trim, it is built on the same high-tensile steel frame that supports 41mm upside-down front forks and a gas-charged monoshock at the back. Both components are sourced from Ohlins. With the exception of the adjustability, the regular trim has the identical configuration.
The front and rear brakes are 300mm dual disc and 250mm single disc, respectively. The base trim has Nissin callipers, while the performance trim has Brembo M4.32 monobloc calipers. Additionally, the 2025 Kawasaki Z900 weighs 213 kg (kerb) and is 1 kilogram heavier than the previous model.
