The X1 Long Wheelbase, an all-electric vehicle, was unveiled by BMW India at the current Auto Expo. For a limited time, the pricing of the All Electric eDrive20L M Sport is Rs 49 lakh, ex-showroom, India. As the name implies, the wheelbase of the long-wheelbase X1 is 112 mm longer than that of the ordinary model (2,692 mm).
India is officially the first market to receive the long-wheelbase iX1, even if China receives the X1 and iX1. Additionally, this unveiling signifies the debut of BMW India’s first domestically produced EV and supports our claim that the company was thinking of bringing LWB SUVs to the nation.
A 66.4kWh battery pack with a 531km MIDC range powers the iX1 LWB. With a front axle-mounted powertrain producing 204 horsepower and 250 Nm, the SUV can reach 100 kph in 8.6 seconds. According to BMW, a DC fast charger can charge the battery pack at up to 130kW.

The iX1 LWB boasts aggressive front and rear bumpers, 18-inch M alloy wheels, and 225/55 R80 tires since it is available in M Sport trim. Highlights of the design are the 3D LED taillights, the mesh pattern for the “kidney” grille, and the thin adaptive LED headlights.
Although the width is identical to that of the normal X1, the overall length is 116mm longer at 2,800mm, and the wheelbase is 112mm longer at 4,616mm. BMW offers the iX1 LWB in five metallic colour options – Mineral White, Skyscraper Grey, M Carbon Black, M Portimao Blue and Sparkling Copper Grey.
With its driver-oriented “Widescreen Curved Display,” which consists of a 10.7-inch infotainment touchscreen and a digital 10.25-inch instrument display, the inside of the LWB electric X1 feels familiar. A panoramic sunroof, rear seats with a 40:20:40 split-folding capability and a 28.5 degree recline, dual-zone temperature control, a 205W 12-speaker Harman Kardon system, and Veganza leatherette upholstery are some of the EV’s standout features. Level 2 ADAS, an electronic parking brake, eight airbags, ISOFIX anchors, and a park assist feature are all part of the safety suite.
