Kawasaki Ninja 1100SX Launched At Rs 13.49 Lakh
Kawasaki India followed through on their exclusive news that the Ninja 1100SX would be released in our nation this month. Priced at Rs 13.49 lakh (ex-showroom, India), the new Ninja 1100SX is exclusively offered here in its base configuration. The price of Kawasaki India’s new Ninja 1100SX, ex-showroom, is Rs 13.49 lakh. With updated gearing, the 1,099cc inline-four engine, which produces 136 horsepower and 113 Nm, provides improved highway performance. With its sophisticated electronics and well-known chassis parts, the bike is aimed at touring fans looking for comfort and performance in the litre class. Shipments begin in January 2025.

The 1,099cc, liquid-cooled inline-four mill that powers the Ninja 1100SX produces 136 horsepower at 9,000 rpm and 113 Nm of torque at 7,600 rpm. That is a 2Nm boost but a 6hp drop when compared to the Ninja 1000SX. The Ninja 1100SX’s fifth and sixth gears have been extended by Kawasaki to reduce engine rpm when driving on the highway, which the company claims also improves fuel efficiency.
With the exception of a slightly bigger rear disc brake (10mm), the chassis parts of the Ninja 1100SX and Ninja 1000SX are essentially similar. With power modes, riding modes, traction control, a bidirectional fast shifter, and cruise control, the electronics suite is also retained.
The Kawasaki Ninja 1000SX was a well-liked model for the Japanese firm in India because it combined touring capability, all-day comfort, and litre-class performance. Kawasaki India currently only offers the base version of the 1100SX; the up-spec SE version with Brembo brakes and Ohlins suspension has not yet been delivered to India.

In our market, the new Ninja 1100SX has no genuine direct competitors to speak of; Triumph’s road-biased Tiger 900 GT (Rs 13.95 lakh) is the closest contender. It costs a nominal Rs 50,000 to reserve from any authorised Kawasaki dealership. Beginning in January 2025, deliveries will begin.
