The Triber MPV and Kiger SUV will get facelifts from Renault later this year. The redesigned Duster is scheduled to go on sale next year. For a while now, Renault hasn’t introduced any significant products. The firm unveiled limited-edition versions of its current lineup, which includes the Kwid, Triber, and Kiger, last year.
The Kiger and Triber will receive a mid-life makeover that includes crisper style, similar to that of the more recent Renault vehicles abroad. The Kiger is expected to receive a significant redesign that will deviate from the Kwid-like appearance of the existing model, according to sources.
Additionally, since it hasn’t been used on any of its goods in India yet, Renault may unveil its new logo. The inside of the vehicle will likely undergo minor adjustments, such as brighter hues and softer materials, akin to those found in the recently released Nissan Magnite SUV.

Since the anticipated upgrades to both models will only be cosmetic, the Kiger will keep its 1.0-liter NA and 1.0-liter turbocharged petrol engines, while the Triber will have the 1.0-litre naturally aspirated petrol unit.
In our market, the Triber and Kiger were introduced in 2019 and 2021, respectively. Renault introduced these sub-four-meter-long, India-focused cars with competitive feature lists and aggressive pricing. To keep things interesting, Renault has periodically updated the Triber and Kiger with several special versions since their inception.
But over the last year, their monthly sales have been appalling, with the Triber performing somewhat better at about 1,500 units and the Kiger averaging less than a thousand units in 2024. Renault sells models including the Kwid, Triber, and Kiger to 14 nations in addition to serving the Indian market.
Renault India has announced that a “all-new SUV” will be on sale in 2026. The third-generation Duster, which made its global premiere last year, will be this SUV. From 2012 to 2022, Renault offered the first-generation Duster for sale in India. After a four-year absence, the third-generation SUV will bring the well-liked Duster name back to India, where the second-generation model never arrived.

The SUV will come in four different versions, with the three-row Bigster entering the lineup a bit later. The regular Duster will debut on sale in 2026. Furthermore, Nissan variants with distinct identities will be available for the Duster and the Bigster.
The Renault-Nissan facility in Chennai will produce all four SUVs, which will be marketed in India and exported to other countries. The business will reveal the new Duster’s costs sometime in the early months of next year, as we can confirm that production will begin in India by September.
