April 14 has been announced as the date of the Volkswagen Tiguan R Line India debut. The latest-generation Tiguan’s top-of-the-line model, the R Line, will be imported in its entirety. It is anticipated that the Volkswagen Tiguan R Line would cost about Rs 50 lakh (ex-showroom).

The R accordance models, which are the top of the Tiguan lineup, include sharper front and back bumpers, a rear spoiler, and side panels that are in accordance with R Line specifications. It also has wider 19-inch alloy wheels and full-width horizontal LED light strips at the front and back. The wheelbase of the most recent Tiguan is the same as that of the previous generation, which is still available for purchase here, but it is 30mm longer.

Sports seats and an ambient lighting kit with three light zones and thirty color selections are distinctive to the inside of the Tiguan R Line. India is unlikely to see the mild-hybrid, plug-in hybrid, and diesel engines that are available for the Tiguan R Line abroad.The current Tiguan costs Rs 38.17 lakh (ex-showroom, India), but the next-generation SUV, which will have more features, would likely cost a lot more.

The Volkswagen Tiguan R Line brings a sportier, premium upgrade to India with enhanced styling, tech, and a powerful 265hp engine. As a full import, it commands a premium price, likely around ₹50 lakh.
