PM Modi Chairs Roundtable With 12 Indian AI Start-Ups, Calls Them Co-Architects Of India’s Future

New Delhi: Prime Minister Modi on Thursday, January 8 called India’s AI Start-ups ecosystem the co-architects of the country’s future, while chairing a roundtable with 12 Indian AI start-ups at his residence.

During the summit titled “AI for ALL: Global Impact Challenge”, the prime minister also assured full government support for their success.  

The meeting comes ahead of the India AI Impact Summit 2026, where these startups will showcase their work after qualifying for the “AI for ALL: Global Impact Challenge.”

The startups, spanning sectors like healthcare, multilingual large language models, engineering simulations, and generative AI, presented their innovations to the Prime Minister.
