Fights continues to be cancelled on Friday too as over 500 flights have been cancelled, leading thousands of people are stuck in transit. The development has sparked widespread outrage against the airline and the government. All departure flights from Delhi have been cancelled until 11: 59 on Friday, adding to the chaos already unfolding across major airports.

The reason for the disruptions have been attributed to misjudgment, planning gaps and crew shortage.
