Class 10 and 12 CBSE board exams have started and every student is struggling to give his or her best. Starting from students to teachers and parents everyone is feeling that pressure.

Relax! This is not the time to feel any pressure. We brought to you the easy hacks to score well even with a minimal level of preparation.

We talked to Lalita Baghel, TGT Hindi, Indirapuram Public School, Ghaziabad with over 20 years of teaching experience. Ms Baghel gave some important suggestions for the Class 10th Hindi board examination.

CBSE Boards 2024: Important Tips

Time Management: The first and foremost important thing is time management in the examination hall. The Hindi question paper contains a total of 18 questions. And the total time is 3 hrs or 180 minutes, so every question should get almost 8 minutes. This will help you to attempt all the questions and to revise the paper again.

Question Sequence Is Important: If you know all the answers try to solve the questions in the sequence of 1,2,3,4,5….18. This gives a positive impression to the evaluator about students’ deeper and better understanding of the subject and impacts the overall marks positively.

Reading Comprehension Twice or Thrice: Students should read the unseen passage multiple times carefully while reading the question paper, this will help them in finding the right answer easily.

Read the ‘NOT’ Carefully: While solving the grammar portion read the last section of the question carefully whether it contains ‘NOT’ and answer accordingly. Sometimes students read the question in a hurry by skipping the word ‘NOT’ and giving the wrong answer.

Quote Examples from The Syllabus: While answering logical and value-based questions numbering 11, 12, and 13, always try to connect your answers with the subject matter and quote examples from your syllabus.

Creative Writing: While solving creative writing questions, students should read the questions carefully and pay special attention to the format. Don”t forget to create boxes for advertising writing, Notice writing, and email writing. Do not mention the name of the school or your name anywhere in creative writing. In place of school, you can write (Pariksha Bhawan or K, Kha, Ga). You can also use (K, Kha, Ga) in place of your name.

Students hoping to score 100% marks should try writing emails instead of short stories.

Stick To the Word Limit: Pay special attention to the word limit prescribed for each question.

Multiple Choice Questions (MCQs): Do not give more time to any question than the prescribed time, and answer all multiple-choice questions. In multiple-choice questions, try to write the complete sentence along with the answer option number.
