Hyle Edify: Aiming To Revolutionise How We Learn

Despite Kerala’s celebrated 100% literacy rate, a glaring question continues to haunt educators and parents alike—why do students who excel in school examinations often struggle to succeed in national-level competitive exams such as NEET, JEE, and CUET?

Addressing this concern head-on is Hyle Edify, an academic institution based in Malappuram’s Perinthalmanna run by some of the bright minds from Kerala’s educational sphere, which aims to bridge the widening gap between school excellence and competitive exam success. With its Regular Tuition + Foundation Programme, Hyle Edify is setting out to change how students in Kerala prepare for their academic future.

A senior official at Hyle Edify remarked, “We constantly see banners celebrating A+ grades in 10th standard results, but we rarely see these same students getting into top national institutions. This is not due to a lack of intelligence but due to a lack of long-term preparation and strategy.”

The institute believes the solution lies in starting early. By integrating preparation for competitive exams with the school curriculum from grade 8 onwards, students can build a strong academic foundation without experiencing burnout or conflict between the two tracks of learning.

“Many parents ask us if exam coaching will affect their child’s regular studies,” said another representative from Hyle Edify. “But what we emphasise is that the two are not separate. The syllabus overlaps greatly. The problem is that our traditional methods never trained students to see this connection.”

Indeed, students from other Indian states, despite lower literacy rates, tend to outperform in all-India exams—largely due to early and structured coaching that focuses on long-term conceptual clarity in core subjects like Science and Mathematics.

Hyle Edify offers the state’s first integrated programme that treats school subjects and competitive exam preparation as two sides of the same coin. By cultivating exam habits early and building conceptual strength, they aim to help students crack national exams on their first attempt.

“We’re not just chasing A+ grades—we’re nurturing dreams of IITs, AIIMS, IIMs, and top Central Universities,” a Hyle Edify official said.

With a team of dedicated educators and a tailored curriculum, Hyle Edify is committed to make strides towards transforming how learning is perceived and delivered in Kerala—where academic brilliance can finally align with national-level success.
