Congress Candidate Shishpal Keharwala Wins Kalanwali constituency

The Congress candidate Shishpal Keharwala has once again won the Haryana assembly election in the Kalanwali constituency with a margin of 22,959 votes.

Securing a total of 66,728 votes, the former minister Shishpal has pushed the BJP candidate, Rajinder Singh Desujodha behind who bagged 43,769 votes.

In the 2019 Haryana Assembly elections, Shishpal Singh of INC won in this seat defeating Rajinder Singh Desujodha of SAD by a margin of 19,243 which was 14.42% of the total votes cast for the seat. INC had a vote share of 39.76% in 2019 in this seat.

In the 2014 Haryana Assembly elections, Balkaur Singh of SAD won in this seat defeating Shishpal Keharwala of INC by a margin of 12,965 which was 9.65% of the total votes cast for the seat. SAD had a vote share of 40.29% in 2014 in this seat.
