Many exit poll predicted a clean sweep for the BJP-led NDA alliance in the Lok Sabha election 2024. Media houses started releasing the exit poll after 6:30 pm on Saturday, June 1. The Bharatiya Janata Party is projected to win more than 350 seats as per at least ten exit polls.
However, opposition leaders has dismissed the exit poll result and termed it as ‘bogus’. The netizens however have highlighted the discrepancies shown in the data published by media house and posted them on X.

Out of four Lok Sabha seats in Himachal Pradesh, NDA was predicted to win 6-8 seats.

An exit poll is a post-election survey predicting the anticipated winners and the margin of their victory. The main idea is to reflect the public sentiment before the actual results.
