New Delhi: As poll bugles have been sounding in every nook and corner of the national capital, Aam Aadmi Party supremo and former Delhi chief minister Arvind Kejriwal on Wednesday announced that the Trinamool Congress party has declared its support for his party in the upcoming Assembly elections.
Taking to social media platform X, the AAP leader expressed his gratitude to the TMC chief Mamata Banerjee, stating that the West Bengal chief minister has always supported and “blessed us in our good and bad times.”

“TMC has announced support for AAP in Delhi elections. I am personally grateful to Mamta Didi. Thank you Didi. U have always supported and blessed us in our good and bad times,” the AAP chief wrote on X. The development has been perceived as a political boost for the ruling party in the national capital as major political parties such as BJP and Congress challenging the decade-long rule of the AAP.

The Election Commission on Tuesday released the poll scheduled for Delhi Assembly elections. The voting will take place on February 5 while the result will be declared on February 8. The battle for power has intensified as the election nears. The BJP, AAP and Congress have been showering promises upon the voters.
The rivalry between BJP and AAP is palpable as the national capital has been witnessing dramatic scenes in respective parties bid to woo voters.
