It’s a curious question, which every AR Rahman fan intends to ask the acclaimed music composer. in a recent interview, the Oscar-winning music composer AR Rahman revealed the reason for the disqualification of his Aadujeevitham track for the prestigious Grammy Awards.
The music maestro revealed that when he submitted the film for the renowned Grammy awards, it was rejected as the soundtrack was one minute less than the stipulated time period set by the organizers.

Explaining his stance, the music genius said that his picture was not to win anymore. Rahman added that the team has decided to submit his work from now on. Since he is working with a better band, AR Rahman is hoping to check many tick boxes for the Grammys.
Speaking of which, he said that he did Goat Life for director Blessy. They released four tracks, and since it is one minute less than the stipulated time, the soundtrack did not qualify for the Grammy’s entry. Moreover, he said that he didn’t submit Ponniyin Selvan 1 and 2 for the Grammy’s held last year either.
