BTS member Jin has been finally discharged from the South Korean military after the completion of his mandatory service. Jin had a special reunion with the rest of his band members, who waited for him outside the premises.
Jin, the K-pop star and the vocalist of the Global Titan Group officially completed his mandatory military service today, where he joined the service in December 2022. On his discharge, the members of the band had delightedly welcomed him, while RM played the saxophone to the tune of their hit song ‘Dynamite’. The videos of this special reunion of the members have been storming social media.

In a video that surfaced on one of the fan pages on social media, the BTS members Jungkook, RM, J-Hope, Jimin, and V gathered outside the entrance to welcome Jin. Jimin was in his military uniform and also paused for a moment to make a hand salute. RM was the first one to greet him and even went on to perform their Grammy-nominated ‘Dynamite’ on the saxophone.
Later the BTS members also posted a picture of celebrating Jin’s discharge in their X account, where it had the BTS members sitting on the couch, and doing the peace sign, while a white cake and some muffins were kept on the table in front of them. A sign behind them on the wall also read, ‘Jin is back.’ Where the post reads “I’m home”

Notably, this was their first picture together after 16 months. This reunion was even more special as the BTS members are about to celebrate their 11th debut anniversary tomorrow.

The K-Pop star began his 18-month military service at a front-line South Korean boot camp at Yeoncheon, a town near the tense border with North Korea. He did five weeks of basic military training together with other conscripted soldiers. After the training, he and other conscripts were assigned to army units.
