Amidst the record breaking success of Allu Arjun‘s Pushpa 2, the entire team is facing backlashes over the death of a women in a Hyderabad theatre, caused during the unexpected visit of the actor. As the police registered case against the actor and several others in connection with the tragedy, public had been expecting the actor’s responsible actions towards the incident. Reacting to the chaos, Allu Arjun has expressed his condolences over the tragic death.

Actor Allu Arjun announced Rs 25 lakhs as aid to the victims family and promises to extend his support for the well being of the family. Expressing his condolences, he also mentioned how he along with his team is shocked and pained by the instance.

In the video he said, “When we went to watch Pushpa’s premiere at RTC Crossroads [in Hyderabad], we never expected to hear such tragic news the next day. It was deeply disheartening to hear that a family was injured, and a lady named Revathi died due to her injuries. Watching movies in theatres is a cherished ritual, but this incident left us all heartbroken,” he explained.

The Pushpa actor then contributed Rs 25 lakh to secure the future of the family. “As a goodwill gesture, I would like to extend financial assistance of Rs 25 lakh to the family. Additionally, we will take care of the medical expenses to ensure the injured members receive the best possible care. This is our way of showing that we are there for you, especially for the children in the family,” Moreover, the actor also requested his fans to be careful and cautious while enjoying the film.

The video was shared with the caption, “Deeply heartbroken by the tragic incident at Sandhya Theatre. My heartfelt condolences go out to the grieving family during this unimaginably difficult time. I want to assure them they are not alone in this pain and will meet the family personally. While respecting their need for space to grieve, I stand committed to extend every possible assistance to help them navigate through this challenging journey (sic).”

For the unversed, actor Allu Arjun made a surprise entry at the Sathya Theatre, Hyderabad on Wednesday night during the premiere of Pushpa 2. Due to the stampede caused in the theatre, a 32 year old women named Revathy lost her life due to asphyxiation as the crowd jostled at the theatre to get a glimpse of the actor. His nine year old son is battling for life in hospital.

However, this announcement of the actor received mixed reaction from the public. Even though fans appreciate Allu Arjun’s kindness and response over the tragic incident, some questioned over the actor’s late response and pointed out certain elements of the video. As the actor was seen wearing the Pushpa 2 promotional hoodie, one commented, “We appreciate it, but it would’ve been more genuine if you’d just spoken from the heart, kept it simple, and dressed casually. No need to wear a hoodie promoting your movie or have BGM while talking.”

And other claimed the actor is reacting just because a case was filed against him and commented, “No one Can Bring Back The Loss ., The Fault Is Totally Yours, without Informing to Police and Other Official Incharge Just Like That If you Visit Theatre How It will be ??? 25lakhs Won’t Even Full fill their Loss Just bcz They Filled a Case You Just Reacted.”

But his fans also reminding he netizens that apart from being an actor he is also a human, stating, “After seeing the quotes and comments They are actors by profession but they too have feelings Everything they do is not acting They are also humans.”
