The promising action thriller from the house of Dharma Productions, which impressed the John Wick makers, Kill featuring the violent avatar of Lakshya as an Indian Army commando will be hitting the theaters tomorrow.

Introducing Lakshya Lavani to the Bollywood world, starring alongside Raghav Juyal, Kill is touted to be one of the most violent movies which the country has ever witnessed. The makers have already set the mood of the audience with the trailer promising bloodshed, wrestling in a moving train. The trailer for this action flick was unveiled by its makers a few weeks back and it has already garnered over a million views since its release.

The trailer begins with Amrit (Lakshya) proposing to his girlfriend Tulika (Tanya Maniktala) on a train. However, their romantic journey soon turns into a nightmare when a group of goons attack the train, setting of the action journey.

The action thriller, penned by Nikhil Nagesh Bhat, has been inspired by his real experience in a 36-40-hour train journey, which dates back to the 90s where the AC two-tier coach to his next door was completely looted over that night. And the number of soldiers, who traveled on the train regretted not knowing about the burglary, reported Mid-Day.

This action thriller marks the second collaboration between Dharma Productions and Guneet Monga’s Sikhya Entertainment, following their successful partnership on the 2013 feature film The Lunchbox.

Kill made its premiere at the Toronto International Film Festival (TIFF) in 2023 and is now ready for release in theatres on July 5, 2024. It earned positive reviews for its thrilling action scenes.
