Mollywood is set to witness a hilarious journey with the Jungle King tomorrow as the director Jay K’s GRRR, starring Kunchacko Boban and Suraj Venjaramoodu, is all set to hit the screens.
The trailer hints at GRRR about to take the audiences to a hilarious series of events that takes place at the Thiruvananthapuram zoo on a single day. Penned by Jay K and Praveen and inspired by true events, the movie narrates the story of a man who deliberately jumps into a lion’s den at the zoo and is seen provoking the animal.

The trailer, which was released last week, hints at the comedy duo of Kunchacko and Suraj. The trailer opens with an astonishing news: Rejimon Nadar (Boban) may have been killed out of honour or betrayed in love in the wake of his disappearance. Then the story jumps to the hilarious news of drunken Rejimon leaping into lion’s den in Thiruvananthapuram zoo. Along with Boban, Suraj plays Haridas, an officer at the zoo, who is tasked to save the young man. But as life would have it, both the characters end up being trapped in the den. The task? To save them both.
With this interesting storyline, the trailer of the comedy entertainer has gone viral and has garnered 1.5 million views so far. On the work front, the makers have been working on the movie for a long time, including shooting with a real lion in South Africa.
The technical crew of this film comprises Jayesh Nair (cinematographer), Vivek Harshan (editor), and Dawn Vincent (background score). Apart from Dawn, Kailas Menon and Tony Tarz have composed the songs.

Besides GRRR, Kunchacko and Suraj are known for their powerful performances in many other hit films. Suraj has portrayed his acting skills in the films Jana Gana Mana, Madanolsavam, and others. On the other hand, Kunchacko earned appreciation for his acting chops in the movies Take Off, Anjaam Pathiraa, and the recent Nna Thaan Case Kodu etc.
