The Marathi feature film of Priyanka Chopra titled Paani has an update. Offering the glimpses of the story of water and love, the Purple Pebble pictures has dropped its official teaser.
Emphasising the necessity of water and the human nature of quest, the film is all set to hit the theaters on October 18. Set in the back drop of a barren land, the film promises to make every viewer understand the value of each precious drops of water.

The craft which seems to be so relatable to the current situation of the world, has already won the National Award for Best Film on Environment Conservation and Preservation. This directorial debut of Addinath M Kothare, was brought to life with a brilliant cast including Rucha Vaidya, Subodh Bhave, Rajit Kapur, Kishor Kadam, Sachin Goswami, Mohanabai, Shripad Joshi and Vikas Pandurang Patil.
What is Paani is all about? The film tries to blend number of elements associated with a human life, which surrounds around the physical necessities and the mental strength. Set in a barren land, where water seems to be a factor to question, What would the love of a man and his promise to his soulmate can change?

Offering an inspirational journey, the makers seems to imprint the value of determination in the minds of the audience. Introducing the village Nagdarwadi, which is known for the people’s struggle for water, the teaser starts to narrate the story of two hearts. The promise of a man to his loved on that he will bring water to every doorsteps, is where the story begins. Could the barren land witness a dawn with the lead’s search?
