While Diljit performing on stage, the crowd went crazy when the pop icon scream in his signature Punjabi fashion, “Ed Sheeran aa gaya oye” (Ed Sheeran has arrived) and the Shape Of You star popped up on stage. The duo who are in the contrast fashion combo of white and black outfits, made a creative fusion of Ed Sheeran’s Shape Of You and Diljit’s former’s hit song Naina. Ed Sheeran strummed the guitar and sang his popular track The Shape of You, before Diljit joined him.

This amazing collaboration of the duo is not the first time, earlier this year in March Diljit lent a helping hand to Ed during his Mumbai concert. Diljit did a cameo on stage and sang his popular track Lover. Ed also joined him in the chorus, thus marking a historic pop culture moment when Ed Sheeran sang in Punjabi for the first time.
