The night of February 5 might have been etched in the history of Chennai. The city witnessed the rhythmic collaboration of two musical geniuses. Guess who joined the stage of Ed Sheeran’s Mathematics tour in Chennai? It’s none other than the Oscar-winning musician A. R. Rahman.
The city was filled with the colourful and melodic performance of the duo, Ed Sheeran and AR Rahman. The Aadujeevitham music composer joined the British pop singer on stage and surprised the crowd. This collaboration offered a completely mesmerising remix of Ed’s Shape of You X Rahman’s Urvasi.

The composer joined him in his iconic all-black look and sunglasses. However, something seemed to be wrong with Rahman’s mic, as he wasn’t audible for much of the performance. Ed supported him by taking over the song while Rahman vocalised parts of Urvasi, and this set the crowd on fire.
