The pan-Indian film Kanguva starring Suriya, Bobby Deol, and Disha Patani gearing up for its release on November 14. However, the film is now set to clash with Shiva Rajkumar’s Kannada film Bhairathi Rangal. And here, the team Kanguva has made a comment over the clash.
Earlier scheduled for the October 10th release, the Suriya starrer film was then postponed to November 14. Out of respect, the Kanguva team gave way to the Superstar’s film, Vettaiyan as a tribute to the actor’s contribution to Indian cinema.
But, now the film has scheduled its clash with the legendary actor Shiva Rajkumar’s Kannada film Bhairathi Ranagal, which is releasing on November 15. Pointing towards this clash, actor Suriya was questioned during his recent movie promotion which was held in Bengaluru.

At a press conference for Kanguva, a reporter pointed out that Suriya postponed Kanguva for Vettaiyan but is now ‘okay’ to release the film with Bhairathi Ranagal. “You feel it’s an ordinary film?” they questioned.
Responding to these allegations, Suriya claimed that the clash wasn’t intentional and that he respects the actor Shiva. He said that the film is being released in all languages possible and that everybody’s hoping for the best possible dates.
Pointing to the major Diwali clash of Bollywood, Singham Again, and Bhool Bhulaiyaa 3, the actor added that for every festival 10 to 12 films were released and in this case, both the films are collecting Rs 100 crore. Suriya also questioned, “Why do you think people will watch only one film or that one will overshadow the other?”

Moreover, Suriya also made it clear that Kanguva was postponed due to numerous reasons. “The 3D version was not ready, even now, the censor is happening. We also had some post-production work left. We had numerous reasons to change the date,” he said.
He also ensured that he would use his utmost power to make sure that Bhairathi Ranagal gets enough screens on its release. “I am genuinely not a part of the distribution circle. However, if someone’s having a meeting and saying, can we do something together, I will go to any extent,” he said.
He also added, “If such a conversation happens, I will go to any extent to talk to my distributors and use whatever power I have. I will call anybody and knock on any doors to make it happen. But marketing and distribution are different worlds…but I will do whatever I can for Shivanna.”
