Chennai, Tamil Nadu: Tamil actor Suriya Sivakumar reacted to the untimely death of Kanguva editor Nishadh Yusuf. The award winning film editor was found dead in the wee hours of Wednesday at his flat in Kochi.
Reacting his upcoming pan Indian release Kanguva editor’s death, actor Suriya has expressed condolence to the celebrated artist’s family and friends. “Heartbroken to hear Nishadh is no more! You’ll always be remembered as a quiet and important person of team Kanguva.. In our thoughts and prayers..! My heartfelt condolences to Nishadh’s family & friends. RIP,” Suriya wrote on his social media handles. Suriya and Nishadh collaboration, Kanguva, a Tamil fantasy film starting Bobby Deol and Disha Patani apart from the Ghajini actor, is all set to release on November 14.

The investigation is going to into the circumstances that led to the movie editor’s death. Yusuf’s notable works include Thallumaala, Chaaver Sau-di Veellakka, Thallumala, Wolf, Operation Java, One, Chaver, Ramachandra Bose and Co, Udal, Aalankam, Ayirathonnu Nunakal, among others.
Hailing from Harippad in Alappuzha, Nishad was honoured with the State Award for Best Editor for his work on Thallumaala in 2022. His upcoming project included the much anticipated Mohanlal and Mammotty-starrer Bazooka among a handful of others.
