Perhaps the most anticipated film of the year, Vijay’s GOAT is all set for release on September 5. Directed by Venkat Prabhu, the film, which stands for ‘The Greatest Of All Time,’ is building up great excitement with Vijay’s star power destined to get the box office rolling. However, based on reports, the film’s Hindi version will not be releasing in national chains, including PVR, INOX, and Cinepolis in Hindi in North India.
Trade analyst and film critic Taran Adarsh stated that the update comes amidst the national chains’ decision of adherence to a policy that requires all new Hindi films to maintain an eight-week gap between their theatrical release and their premiere on OTT platforms.
