The N Convention Centre of the Tollywood Megastar Nagarjuna was demolished by the HYDRAA agency today. The actor called out the issue as an unlawful demolition.
The Hyderabad Disaster Response and Assets Monitoring and Protection (HYDRAA) agency undertook the demolition process as a part of an ongoing drive to remove illegal constructions that have encroached on water bodies and public lands.
The N Convention Centre spans over 10 acres was found to be a violation of several environmental regulations. As per the reports, the center had encroached upon the Tummidikunta Lake, occupying 1.12 acres within the Full Tank Level (FTL) and an additional 2 acres within the lake’s buffer zone.

Reacting to this demolition, the Tollywood star has posted an official statement claiming the action of the authorities as unlawful, highlighting the existing stay order of the court.
The actor further mentioned that they have not made any law violation and explained “The land is a Patta land, and not even an inch of tank plan is encroached. In respect of the building constructed inside the private land, there is a stay order granted against any earlier illegal notice for demolition”
Moreover, the actor has also accused the authorities saying that no prior notice of the demolition was issued to them. Claiming the demolition was the result of misinformation, the actor said that they are planning to seek appropriate relief from the Court concerning the wrong actions carried out by the authorities.
Pained by the unlawful manner of demolition carried out in respect of N Convention, contrary to existing stay orders and Court cases.
