Telangana and Andhra Pradesh are in a devastating position due to the impact of severe floods threatening the lives of its people. With celebrities extending their help to save people in distress, actor Jr NTR contributed to the Chief Minister’s Relief Funds.
With torrential downpours affecting several regions in the state, several people have been displaced. The Devara Part 1 actor has responsibly donated Rs 50 lakh each to the Chief Minister’s Relief Funds of Andhra Pradesh and Telangana to support flood relief efforts.

This morning, Jr NTR disclosed his responsible contribution on X. Expressing his concern for the affected people, he tweeted in Telugu saying that he was deeply moved by the recent floods in the two Telugu states due to heavy rains. The actor said that he prayed to God that Telugu people recover from this calamity soon.
He added that from his part, he was announcing his donation to help the measures taken by the Governments of the two Telugu States for relief from the flood disaster.

Responding to the calamity, several Telugu celebrities such as Chiranjeevi, Jr. NTR, Mahesh Babu, Akkineni Nagarjuna, and Vijay Deverakonda among others on Tuesday announced donations worth over Rs 3 crore towards the Telangana CM Relief Fund to help the flood victims.

Kalki actor Prabhas has pledged to donate Rs 1.5 crore to the relief cause. Chiranjeevi and Mahesh Babu donated Rs 1 crore each. Akkineni Nagarjuna announced donations of Rs 50 lakh. Vijay Deverakonda announced a donation of Rs 10 lakh while Ram Pothineni will donate Rs 25 lakh.
At least 16 people have lost their lives due to severe floods in Telangana. Both states are witnessing severe damage with electricity cutoffs, road network cutoffs, and damaged crops. Old Khammam, Warangal, and Nalgonda were the districts that suffered severe damage in Telangana.
