BSP Has Been "BJPised": Dalit Leader Udit Raj
New Delhi: Congress leader and National Chairman of Dalit, OBC, Minorities, and Adivasi (DOMA) Confederation Dr. Udit Raj alleged that Mayawati has “BJPised” and cannot be remain silent about it.
While addressing a press conference on Thursday, Raj, a prominent face in the Dalit movement, criticised Mayawati for foregoing the principles of the party in which it has built.

“The people who gave birth and strength to BSP were poor Dalits and employees. They were shown the dream of making them rulers and keeping this feeling and goal in mind, the workers kept sacrificing. Its behavior was not like other parties, it did not aspire for getting any work done or cooperation. They have nurtured it with their blood and sweat,” he said.
Continuing further, Raj said that BSP as a party was not made with the money of the affluent. “As soon as they got power, they forgot everything, let alone meeting the workers, they insulted the leadership promoted by Kanshi Ram ji and finally showed them the way out,” he argued.
He also stated that the movement which came into being on the principles of Dr. Ambedkar has now started moving in opposite direction. Raj then list out the instances in which BSP under Mayawati’s leadership deviated from the core idea, and slanted towards BJP.
During the 2022 Uttar Pradesh Mayawati indicated that Samajwadi Party should not win, even if BJP win. She directly indicated that BJP should be made to win, Raj claims.
During the Lok Sabha elections, Dalit leader says that Akash Anand was removed from the post of coordinator within 24 hours after he gave an aggressive speech against BJP. He further states that Anand was made coordinator twice and then removed him which shows that BSP is being controlled by BJP. “Mayawati ji would not have taken such a suicidal step without pressure,” he argues.

Raj also claims that if BSP had been a part of INDIA bloc during the Lok Sabha elections, BJP would not have been able to form the government at the Centre.
Continuing further, Raj said that Akash Anand was in favour of a compromise with Congress-SP in the upcoming assembly elections, but it troubled BJP internally thinking about their vote bank. He claims that BSP is the only party whose vote can be dented by BJP and this would have been difficult if Akash Anand remained in the party, alluding that his expulsion from the party is stemming from this.
