
Samosa Vendor Snatches Watch From Train Passenger After UPI Glitch; Railway Takes Action
Jabalpur, Madhya Pradesh: The Railway administration has identified and taken action against a samosa seller who forced a passenger to give up his smartwatch after his UPI payment failed while his train was departing from Jabalpur in Madhya Pradesh.
The video of the vendor snatching the watch from the passenger went viral on social media, sparking outrage against the seller and the railway administration.

Reacting to the incident, West Central Railway CPRO Harshit Srivastava stated the incident occurred on the evening of 17th October. “At Jabalpur station, a vendor snatched the watch of a passenger after he made a purchase from him,” he added.
Srivastava further noted that the Railway Administration took quick action, identified the vendor and arrested him under the Railway Act.

A case was also registered against the vendor, identified as Sandeep Gupta. “The license under which he worked is being canceled,” the railway official added in a video shared by news agency ANI
