Know About Nashik MP Shiv Sena (UBT)'s Parag Prakash

Rajabhau Parag Prakash, Shiv Sena (UBT) candidate from the Nashik Lok Sabha constituency by securing 616,729 votes. He defeated Shiv Sena candidate Hemant Tukaram with a vote margin of 162,001 votes.

Shiv Sena (UBT)’s candidate Parag Prakash Waje is a member of the 13th Maharashtra Legislative Assembly from Sinnar Vidhan Sabha constituency. He is known for his support he has extended for the famers cause and has led many agitations. In May 2023, a panel led by Waje snatched the power of Sinnar APMC from his rival Manikrao Kokate.

Hemant Tukaram Godse, Shiv sena candidate was earlier associated with the Maharashtra Navnirman Sena (MNS). He during 2007 to 2012, has served as a member of Zila Parishad in Nashik. During his tenure he has demonstrated his dedication to regional development and welfare.

Nashik is a significant Lok Sabha constituency. Since its inception, the constituency has witnessed a dynamic political landscape. Though the Congress won the seat in the first election held in 1952, later different parties has got hold of the seat.

In the 2014 Lok Sabha election, Godse secured the seat by defeating veteran leader Chhagan Bhujbal of the National Congress party with 4,94,735 votes. While Chhagan won 307,399 votes. Later in the 2019 Lok Sabha election, Hemant Godse once again won the seat by garnering 563,599 votes, defeating Sameer Bhujbal of NCP.

The Maha Vikas Agadhi has toppled the exit poll results and has won from the state sweeping majority of the seats.
