Earthquake In Kerala's Thrissur And Palakkad

An earthquake of magnitude 3.0, struck several parts of Thrissur and Palakkad today, according to National Center For Seismology. The earthquake occurred around 8.45 am, and had a very shallow depth of 7km, jolting a wide area in light tremor, the government agency for monitoring earthquake confirmed.

Places such as Chowannur, Guruvayur, Kunnamkulam, Nagalashery, Kakkattiri, Kappur, and Erumapetty felt shaking with a sound.

With windows and doors trembling lightly, people have been in panic, and no damages have been reported, according to Malayalam Media Asianet News
