To her question, Asif instead of providing any concrete reply, he referred to the social media news and said, “It’s all over social media on the Pakistan side and also on India’s side”.

“The debris of fighter jets has fallen on the border areas. Also, the Indian media has admitted it”, the minister added.

To this, the Journalist Anderson said that she is not talking about what is all over spread on social media, instead, to asking him specifically about the confirmation of the Indian losses.

Similar claims are also made by Pakistan’s PM Shahbaz Sharif when he lauded the “Shaheen”, alluding to the Pakistan’s military capabilities and alleged loss of India’s Rafale fighters. However, these claims have been dismissed by Indian sources, particularly by the Press Information Bureau (PIB) fact check.

As per latest reports, a day after India’s strike on multiple terror hideouts in Pakistan, several blasts occured in Pakistan’s second-largest city, Lahore, on Thursday morning, reports Reuters, citing staff witnesses and broadcaster Geo TV.
