Iran Denies US Claim Of Tehran’s Transfer Of Enriched Uranium

Tehran, Iran: Iran has rejected claims made by US President Donald Trump that Tehran would hand over their enriched uranium to Washington. Trump made the remark after Iran announced the complete opening of the Strait of Hormuz.

“The President of the United States made seven claims in one hour, all seven of which were false,” he wrote. “They did not win the war with these lies, and they will certainly not get anywhere in negotiations either,” the parliament speaker said.

After Iran declared that Strait of Hormuz completely open for commercial vessels, the US president on Saturday, April 18, said that the US will start dropping bombs on Iran if no deal is reached. The fragile US-Iran ceasefire is expected to end in coming days.

Notably, Iran has asserted that the Strait of Hormuz will remain open in line with ceasefire, and any violation including in Lebanon may prompt them to close it again.
